Le Berkeley, once home to prestigious chefs including Alain Senderens, Joël Robuchon and Henry Faugeron, has since been converted into a chic and cool brasserie now under the management of David Moutet-Fortis and Thibault Pron Cugnot de Lepinay Radegonde.
Bonus points for the uninterrupted cuisine (breakfast until midnight) and great service, minus points for the poor quality of the coffee.
Ambiance more classic than the neighboring uber-cool Matignon restaurant, the Berkeley is however the converging point for art dealers and auctioneers. If you want to mingle with Christie’s, Gagosian and company, this is the place to go.
